Sandy Aird, coach to the North
District was appointed PGA Professional at Forres Golf Club on 1 July
1988. Sandy, has had thirty years experience as a Professional having
served five years as Assistant at Dalmahoy Golf Club, four years as Professional
at Colville Park and nine years as Professional at Coatbridge. Sandy has
had success on the Tartan Tour, the highlight being when he broke the
course record at Kinross Golf Club and went on to win their Centenary
Pro-Am Tournament. Sandy is a great supporter of junior golf and has been
associated with the North District Junior Order of Merit Competition since
its conception in 1995. |
